Blowing LA star Ted Gibson has revealed what it was like behind the scenes knowing about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s relationship before it was leaked to the press.
The Maleficent actress, 47, first met her now ex-husband, 58, on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2003, where they were playing on-screen spouses.
At the time, Brad was still married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston, and although they denied their relationship at first, it wasn’t long before they were spotted on holiday in Kenya together.
However, Ted knew about it from earlier on, and reveals all the juicy details in new series Blowing LA, which features the hairdressers of celebs including Britney Spears, Gwynth Paltrow, Pamela Anderson, Angelina Jolie, Katy Perry, and Kate Hudson.
Ted, who is known for toiling over the tresses of the likes of Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, revealed: ‘It’s really hard to keep the dirt! I knew Angie was pregnant and I didn’t even tell my husband because he has a big mouth! So I didn’t even tell him.
‘But I knew the moment that Brad and Angie got together, because I did all the press for Mr & Mrs. Smith.
‘I was with her the moment she found out that it was going to be released because someone had got pictures of them together.’
The 56-year-old continued: ‘The great thing about Angie is that when you look at her, she looks the same on screen as she does in person.
‘And that doesn’t always happen. A lot of people look really great on TV and you look at them and you’re like, “Oh, all right. I see them in a movies, is that really the same person?” Angie looks the same in both.
‘And that’s really kind of iconic. You don’t see that very often. She is so lovely. She’s beautiful and she’s sexy and she knows who she is as a woman. And I really love to be able to work with women like that.’

It’s not just mum-of-six Angelina who is a household name between the Blowing LA cast.
In another scene, hairstylist stars Robby and Laura discuss being ‘told off’ over Kelly Osbourne’s hair.
Back in 2019, the 36-year-old turned heads with her eccentrically-dyed purple hair cut into a very short bob.
Recalling the moment in an exclusive clip shared to Metro.co.uk, Robby comments: ‘That came out of left-field.’
Laura adds: ‘I was like, “I’m so sorry, I rinsed my bowl, they were coming at us with daggers… about a bowl.’
‘A bowl with Kelly Osbourne’s hair colour in it, like why bring Kelly into this?’ Robby replied, adding: ‘She’s an angel.
‘Let’s keep her out, absolutely.’
Aside from Kelly and Angelina, we wonder what other stories these celeb hairstylists are hiding…
